Thank You

With the sale of the club and the takeover to come into full effect during this off-season, I have decided to make this my final post. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who have supported me throughout the last four years of running this blog, with a huge thank you particularly to

- My wife and family for their unwavering support throughout this project

- Baz and Brendan for all their hard work and contributions to the site

- Yarraside, not only all their hard work and efforts to ensure that the atmosphere on gameday is always electric, but also all their cooperation and support for this blog

- The staff at Melbourne Heart for their support

This site will remain up as a tribute to the clubs foundation years and a reminder of the good and bad times which made this club so unique. Regardless of any changes that come from new ownership, I will always be a part of this club and very much look forward to the next chapter in the clubs history.

Hello and welcome to

The History of Melbourne Heart.

This project originally started after I bought my camera along to the first few matches of a newly formed club because I thought it would be kind of fun to take some pics and look back at them in years to come. After sharing them with a few fellow supporters of the club, the reaction was so positive that I continued to shoot at every available opportunity. The project has since snowballed into what you see today.

Although Melbourne Heart is the club that I support, I hope that my work speaks to all fans of football, regardless of who they support or where they are from.
